Run Our House started in one family's kitchen in Reno, Nevada. Jason, a software engineer and dad of two young girls, built an AI assistant for his own family after watching his wife Erin juggle calendars, meal planning, grocery lists, and budgets across five different apps — while also keeping track of everything in her head.
What started as a weekend project became something their family couldn't live without. Friends started asking "can I get one of those?" — and Run Our House was born. Every feature exists because a real family needed it, not because a product team hypothesized about it.
Run Our House is operated by Sierra Code Co, a software consultancy based in Reno, NV. Jason personally deploys and manages every family's assistant — this isn't a faceless SaaS product. When you have a question, you talk to the person who built it.
